What getting to the top of an MLM actually taught me (and why I'd never do it again).

I would never do it again. I also wouldn't trade it. I got into network marketing on maternity leave, thinking I'd sell a little skincare on the side. Within a year I had the white Mercedes. Eventually I was at the top of the company, my team was selling over a million a year, and my own checks hit $25,000 months. I also had a tax hole that nearly took us out. In this one I'm telling the whole thing. How I got in, how fast it climbed, and the moment the rose-colored glasses came off. I'm not here to trash it or sell it. I made real money and real friends, and I learned some things the hard way that I still carry as an entrepreneur at 50.
